Ria Gyawali is a PhD student in the department of Anthropology. She explores her research interests on mobility, movement, and displacement in rural Nepal through film, sound, and photography. She holds an MA in South Asian Studies from Columbia University and a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto.
