ANYA YERMAKOVA, PhD Candidate in History of Science
“Mytho-logicking” is a sonic journey, of somatic attention. Channeling the methods, practices, and ambitions of artistic and logical experimentalism in Russian-speaking Eurasia before the 1917 Revolution, this project foregrounds the body as a research instrument of logicality. Intimate scale of action in found sounds and sounding bodies sculpt affect in macroscopic phenomena and in elusive historical traces. Presentation of “mytho-logicking” will be in the form of a virtual performance.
