Alejandra Rosa, Al, Alé [they/them, she/hers] Afro Puerto Rican non binary writer, performer and visual artist embodying portals of Afro-queer liberation. Their writing has been published by The New York Times, Time Magazine, revista Étnica, 80grados, Todas PR. Author of “Levadura” (2022, La Secta de los Perros). Gabriel Garcia Márquez Cultural Journalism Fellow (2019, 2020), Truman Scholar (PR ’16), founder of Colectivo Teatral Boal (2015-2018). Currently an African and African American Studies Phd student at Harvard University, and Dancer at Danza Orgánica, Boston based anti-racist dance-theater company.
