Joseph Pomp is a transmedia scholar and practitioner focusing on the interplay between literature and film in the production of global art house cinema; African, Jewish, and Korean diasporas; and figurations of urban space. He has collaborated with the Media History Digital Library and written for The Brooklyn Rail, Film Quarterly, Film & History, and Senses of Cinema. His dissertation and capstone project will engage the legal, economic, and theoretical apparati that have shaped international film culture.
